Setting up the Prerequisites

You must complete the TAFJ Java Message Service (JMS) MQ prerequisite tasks using the following procedure.

1. Create root access user on the operating system.
2. On an install folder, unpack the tar.gz files. For example, WS_MQ_V8.0.0.4_LINUX_ON_X86_64_IM.tar.gz.
3. Under the install folder, create a MQINST and MQINST_FP folder by using the command below.

   mkdir MQINST

4. Untar the files by using the command below.

   tar -C MQINST -xvf WS_MQ_V8.0.0.4_LINUX_ON_X86_64_IM.tar.gz
