UX Resource Extension

This section explains how to search, create or edit a new extension between a UXP Browser operation and rules created in Rule Engine or python script validation.

Creating and Editing UX Resource Extension

This section details about creating and editing UX Resource Extension.

Creating UX Resource Extension

To create an UX Resource Extension,

1. Navigate to APIs > UX Resource Extension, on the dashboard’s left pane.
2. Click Add Extension button on the Search page.
3. Enter the following details in the New API Extension screen.

Field	Action
Model Type	This is a mandatory field. Select Application or Version from the dropdown.
Resource Name	This is a mandatory field. Based on Model Type selected it loads content assisted list of Applications or Version.
Function	Select required function from the dropdown.
Operation Name	This is a mandatory field. Enter name in convention with IRIS vocabulary for APIs
Script Name	Select Python Validation script name
DMN Rule Name	Select a DNM rule loaded from Rules Engine using content assist
Container Name	This field is disabled and prefilled based on DMN Rule name selected
Input	This field is disabled and prefilled based on DMN Rule name selected

4. Enter the mandatory fields and select a Rule Validation.
5. Click on Create button to create the mapping between UX Resource operation and rule.

Editing UX Resource Extension

To edit an existing UX Resource Extension,

1. Navigate to APIs > UX Resource Extension, on the dashboard’s left pane.
2. Search for the Resource name to edit the mapping between UX Resource operation and rule.
