Dropdown

Sets text and position of the tooltip.

Parameters:

1. data - mandatory
   The type of the data parameter is Array of Objects. This is the segment data of the dropdown
2. widgetDataMap - optional
   The type of the widgetDataMap parameter is Object. It is the widgetDataMap of the segment in the dropdown
3. otherData - optional
   The type of the otherData parameter is Object.

this.view.dropdown.setData(dropdownData,widgetDataMap,otherData)

This API can be used to modify the following properties of the component

1. noRecordsText - text to display when there are no records to display
2. noRecordsTexti18n - i18n key for noRecordsText
3. placeholder - placeholder
4. placeholderi18n - i18n key for placeholder
5. noOfRecordsInView - number of records to display in the dropdown before scroll appears. Defaults to 5
6. charLimit - no of characters before ellipsis appear. defaults to 11
7. concatKey - which key in the data to concat using charlimit property. defaults to lblAccountName
8. onSelectionCallback - callback on option selection

Parameters:

1. otherData - mandatory
   The otherData parameter is of the Object type. The above mentioned keys can be used in the Object to change the component’s behaviour

Example:

Sets a selected option to the dropdown

1. optionText - mandatory
   The optionText parameter is of the String type. optionText is set to the dropdown as the selected text

Example:

this.view.setSelectedOption("My Savings ... 1234");

Returns the selected option as a string

Example:

var selectedOption = this.view.getSelectedOption();

This callback is triggered when an option is selected. This can be set in two ways:

1. Directly assigning it to the dropdown component

   var sampleCallback = function(){
     // do stuff
   };
   this.view.dropdown.onSelectionCallback = sampleCallback;

2. Using the setOtherData API
