Infinity Architecture

Infinity is a purpose built platform to deliver seamless experiences across digital banking applications and channels. It offers a set of comprehensive features to provide a true Digital Banking experience to your customers. Infinity enables banks and credit unions to deliver exceptional omni-channel experiences without compromising on agility, security, or flexibility.

Infinity Architecture comprises the following:

• Client Channel
• Experience APIs (Quantum Fabric)
• Enterprise APIs (Micro Services)
• IRIS Services (Transact/Core)

Client Channel

Client Channels are applications created using Temenos Quantum Visualizer. Client channels are Self Service Apps and Assisting Service Apps. These apps can be integrated with third-party clients using SDKs. This client channel apps can also interact with other services like Keycloak IDM, Journey Analytics, and others.

Experience APIs

Experience APIs consist of Quantum Fabric services. These services are bundled and made available as the following Fabric apps:

• Campaign Engine
• Third-party Services
• Retail Onboarding
• DBP Local Services
• Loan Origination Service
• Transaction Limits Engine
• Banking Admin Console
• Tasks Management
• Event Manager
• Service Request

Experience APIs interact with Client Channel for data-related actions such as Create, Read, and Update. Experience APIs also work with other providers such as Keycloak IDM (for SSO), Events Consumer, and Google Cloud (Analytics). Experience APIs interact with third-party vendors such as Authentic ID, IDOLOGY, Google, Plaid, Twilio, and Microsoft Exchange to create, read, and update data.

Experience APIs also contain Integration services that work with server-side interactions. Integration Services work with PAM’s KIE Server and DBX DB/IDM. The PAM’s KIE server helps in process automation management, decision management, and task management.

Enterprise APIs

Enterprise APIs contain Micro-services. These Micro-services are of two types, Business services, and Infrastructure services.

Not all business services are mandatory to avail an Infinity offering and hence they are qualified as mandatory and optional.

The Optional Micro-services are

• Savings Pot
• Party
• Account Aggregation (This is a third-party service provided by Saltedge)
• Arrangements
• Holdings
• Due Diligence

Infrastructure services include Event Store, Adapter Framework, and Generic Config.

• The Event Store records the events generated by microservices. Other microservices can interact with the Event Store to receive these events and data associated with it.
• The Adapter Framework microservice subscribes to the data events on the Event store microservice. When data is received, the Adapter Framework routes the data as an HTTP request to any endpoint which accepts HTTP requests.
• The Generic Config microservice stores individual configurations of microservices. The Adapter Framework service uses the Generic Config service to configure the router.

Enterprise APIs and Experience APIs interact with each other to create, read, and update data.

IRIS Services

IRIS services is a set of services through which Infinity components leverages Transact and Payment hub functionality. Transact modules uses DES to ingest data to individual MS.
